Hey foodies we have exciting culinary TV news from Emeril return to cooking on tv to great American baking show and a silos baking competition with chip and Joanna (my friend lois spruytte) from Detroit Michigan and a fellow wfc competitor is going to bring it on!! For us all. Also we are saddened that the good dish is canceled after seeaon 1. I have a question do you want the chew to return to the screens by nbc soon? Let us know and want movie news there was a rumor that Chris Kattan wants to bring the band back together for a a night at the Roxbury 2 and he wants Jimmy Fallon to play the long lost brother. He's busy man and if he had some time he could get guest co hosts kimmel did it he can too! But on the other note Jimmy will be a reportery celebrity player for the password reboot with Keke palmer and were beyond excited about it. The Chicago bacon deep dish pizza. Pizza crust 1 package Betty Crocker pizza crust mix ingredients call for pizza crust such as water etc. For the bacon Tomato sauce. 1/4 lb diced bacon. 1/2 onion diced. 1 tsp brown sugar. 1 8oz red gold tomato sauce. For pizza assembly. 1 package mozzarella cheese. Reserved bacon from bacon Tomato sauce. Tomato bacon pizza sauce. Preheat oven to 400ºF grease an 9 inch pie pan set aside. In a bowl mix dough ingredients and oil bowl transfer to oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap and let rest 10 minutes in dark place. After 10 minutes flour dough onto surface roll into a disk and transfer to pie pan. Press into pie like shape. Parbake 7 to 8 minutes. Meanwhile in a small skillet over medium high heat add diced bacon and cook until crisp. Drain bacon bits on a slotted spoon add onions to bacon fat with brown sugar cook 5 minutes more pour in red gold tomato sauce cook 2 minutes turn off heat take pizza out of oven and spread bacon pizza sauce onto pizza crust then top with mozzarella, caramelized onions and bacon bits and return to oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Allow to sit 10 minutes before slicing and digging in.

Today's episode is all about the new hellmanns fridge night app and how to reduce food waste and also I just was one of 100 award winning competition home cooks to be featured in Brian Baumgartner upcoming cookbook releases in September available for pre order and talked to Joanne from NBC password reboot with Jimmy Fallon today one step closer to meeting him. And now here's my fridge night app recipe and we need our listens to check it out all goes to feeding America. Made a impossibly good taco chili over fried grit cakes and I took the fridge night challenge to a whole new level and this recipe will be featured on my upcoming podcast on Spotify episode 2 of chef ava maries recipe mixtape podcast so it's only on Spotify now and one day iheart radio will broadcast my culinary podcast. This recipe is not vegan but it's a vegetarian option but does contain dairy products I hope you enjoy 
Impossibly good taco chili over leftover grit cakes 
For chili 
3 tbl vegetable oil 
1 lb impossibly foods plant based meat 
1/2 onion chopped 
1 green bell pepper seeded and diced
3 cloves garlic grated
1 pkg taco bell homestyle taco seasoning mix 
1 can bushs chili beans rinsed and drained 
1 can red gold diced tomatoes in juices 
2 cups water 
For grit cakes
2 cups leftover cooked grits 
Vegetable oil for frying 
1 cup all purpose flour 
2 eggs beaten 
1/3 cup milk 
2 cups plain breadcrumbs 
2 tbl taco seasoning mix 
Avocado cheese and sour cream to garnish 
Hellmanns chili honey drizzle sauce to serve on top 
Method 
In a pot heat oil over medium high  heat once hot add impossible foods plant based meat and veggies and cook until rendered down do not drain excess fat. Then add in taco seeaoning mix,  beans and tomatoes and stir then add In water and bring it to a boil then simmer for 25 minutes or until it has reduced 
Meanwhile make the grit cakes get breading stations ready. Form leftover grit cakes into cakes and roll into flour to coat then dip into egg mixture and then into taco seasoned breadcrumbs and heat oil over medium high heat once hot add patties cook 2 minutes per side or until golden brown on both sides and drain on paper Towels and serve over chili and top with cheese avocado and sour cream and that hellmanns drizzle sauce

On this week's show here's the scoop on why do I need to get on password reboot with Jimmy Fallon and have Chris Kattan as celebrity player (remember that iconic Barbara eden player back then) Kattan is the guy for the job. More on the podcast and you have to hear my story about the iconic snl like cake sketch with Carson kressely from queer eye. Now to the superbowl I'll be making game days snacks for hellmanns deli club for a contest and it will be served on superbowl Sunday and now I will share this week recipe for. Thin mint cheesecake cupcakes. Crust. 2 cups crushed girl scouts thin mint Chocolate covered pretzels. 2 tbl challenge butter. Cheesecake filling. 2 8 oz room temp cream cheese. 2 eggs. 3/4 cup sugar. 1 tsp vanilla. Preheat oven to 375. Place cupcake liners in 12 muffin tins. In a bow mix crushed pretzels and butter and pack onto the 12 cupcake tins. Press firmly to pick it in bake for 10 Minutes. In a bowl of hand mixer beat cream cheese, until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, sugar and vanilla and mix to combine well. Fill each Muffin cup until almost full bake 12-15 minutes or until just jiggly but firmly set. Cool on a rack then refrigerate until serving
